ClickUp automation with Bizomate

ClickUp holds the plan; the requests, orders and messages that change it arrive elsewhere. Bizomate creates tasks with your list's own statuses and custom fields, adds comments, files and time, and starts a workflow as soon as a task is added or its status changes. Every run leaves a record of what it did.

What can start a workflow

New task
When a task is created

Publishing sets up a webhook in your ClickUp Workspace; there is nothing to paste. Narrow it to a space, folder or list, or leave them empty to hear the whole Workspace.

Task status changed
When a task moves to another status

When a task moves to another status, in the space, folder or list you choose. Set up when you publish.

Task updated
When a task changes

Any change to a task; the run says which fields changed. Set up when you publish.

New comment
When someone comments on a task

A comment on any task in the place you choose. Set up when you publish.

What a workflow can do with it

Create a task
Adds a task to a list

Choose the Workspace, space, folder and list — No folder, for lists straight in the space. Then a status from the list, a priority, a due date, tags, a Markdown description and the list's own custom fields.

Update a task
Changes a task's name, description, status, priority, due date, assignees or custom fields

Only the fields you fill in change; assignees are added and removed separately.

Add a comment
Comments on a task
Find tasks
A list's tasks by status, assignee and due date

A list's tasks by status, assignee and due date, closed ones too if you choose; up to 1,000.

Get a task
A task's status, priority, assignees, dates and custom fields
Attach a file
Attaches a file from an earlier step to a task
Create a subtask
Adds a subtask under a task, in the task's list
Track time
Records time spent on a task

A duration in minutes, or hours and minutes — 1h 30m — with a start and notes.

Questions about ClickUp

Can it use my list's statuses and custom fields?

Yes. Choose the list, and Status offers its own statuses while its custom fields appear as rows to fill in — a drop-down by its option's name, people by email, a checkbox true or false. Only the fields you fill in are set.

Do the triggers hear my whole Workspace?

Only if you leave Space, Folder and List empty. Choose a space, a folder or a list, and only tasks there start runs.

Can a workflow log time on a task?

Yes. Track time records a duration on a task — 90, 1h 30m or 1:30 — with a start time and notes. Left without a start, the time is taken to have ended when the step ran.

Do I set up webhooks in ClickUp?

No. Publishing adds the webhook, and every publish sets it up again. Changing to another trigger or place, or deleting the workflow, removes it.
