monday.com automation with Bizomate

A monday.com board works when every item is on it and every status is true. Bizomate creates items with your board's own columns — status, people, dates, numbers — moves them between groups, posts updates, and starts a workflow as soon as an item is added or a column changes. Every run leaves a record of what it changed.

What can start a workflow

New item
When an item is created on a board

Publishing sets up a webhook on the board; there is nothing to paste. Each item created starts one run.

Column value changed
When a column's value changes on an item

One column or any column, and only when the new value is the one you name — a status by its label — or any value. Set up when you publish.

New update
When someone posts an update on an item

An update posted on any item on the board. Set up when you publish.

What a workflow can do with it

Create an item
Adds an item to a board, with the column values you fill in

In the group you choose, or the board's top group. A status takes its label, people an email, a date 2026-10-09, a dropdown its labels. Add labels that are missing adds a label the board does not have yet, instead of failing the step.

Update column values
Changes the columns you fill in on an item

Only the columns you fill in change.

Move an item to a group
Moves an item to another group on its board
Create an update
Posts an update on an item, as the token's person

Posted on the item as the person the token belongs to.

Find items
Items on a board whose column holds a value

Items whose column holds a value, as monday.com shows it; up to 1,000.

Create a subitem
Adds a subitem under an item, with the column values you fill in
Upload a file to a column
Adds a file from an earlier step to an item's file column

Files from earlier steps, each added to the item's file column.

Questions about monday.com

Which columns can it fill in?

Text, long text, status, dropdown, people, date, numbers, email, phone, link, checkbox, rating and connected items — each read from your board, with what it takes beside it. Columns monday.com works out itself, such as formulas, are left alone.

What if a status label does not exist on the board yet?

monday.com refuses the value and the step fails — unless Add labels that are missing is on, which adds the label to the board instead.

Do I set up webhooks in monday.com?

No. Publishing adds the webhook to the board, and every publish sets it up again. Changing to another trigger, board or column, or deleting the workflow, removes it.

Whose name is on the updates?

The token's. Create an update posts as the person the token belongs to, and every step can reach only the boards that person can see.
