Todoist automation with Bizomate

The things you mean to do arrive as emails, orders and meetings. Bizomate turns them into Todoist tasks — with a project, labels, a priority and a due date written as "tomorrow at 5pm" — and starts a workflow when a task is added or ticked off. Every run leaves a record of what it added.

On every plan, Free included.

When a task is ticked off in Todoist

When a task is ticked off, in every project or the one you choose. Checked every 5 minutes on paid plans, every 15 on Free.

What a workflow can do with it

Create a task
Adds a task to a Todoist project, with a due date, labels and priority

A due date in words, as you would type it in Todoist — tomorrow at 5pm, every Monday — or as a date. Priority from p1, the most urgent, to p4; an assignee only in a shared project. With no project, it goes to your Inbox.

Update a task
Changes a task's name, description, labels, priority or due date
Complete a task
Ticks off a task — a recurring one moves to its next date

A recurring task moves to its next date.

Move a task
Moves a task to another project, a section, or under another task

To another project, a section, or under another task as its subtask.

Reopen a task
Brings back a completed task
Find tasks
Open tasks that match a Todoist filter, or a project's tasks

With Todoist's own filter, as in its Filters view — today | overdue — or a project's tasks; up to 1,000.

Add a comment
Comments on a task
Create a project
Adds a project, on its own or inside another

Questions about Todoist

Can I write due dates in words?

Yes. Due takes words as you would type them in Todoist — tomorrow at 5pm, next Friday, every Monday — or a date such as 2026-10-09. In Update a task, "no date" removes the due date.

Do the triggers start a run straight away?

No. They check your Todoist every 5 minutes on paid plans and every 15 on Free, and each task added or ticked off starts one run. Tasks already there when you publish never start a run, and a check that finds nothing starts no run and costs nothing.

Which priority is the most urgent?

p1, as Todoist shows it. Bizomate uses Todoist's own p1 to p4 both ways, so a task made with p1 is a p1 in Todoist, and p4 means no priority.

Can a workflow send me a daily list?

Yes. Start it with a schedule, use Find tasks with a filter such as today | overdue, and send what it finds by email or chat.
